Evie Roth is a painter from St. Louis, Missouri. She earned a B.F.A. in Studio Art and Design from Tulane University in 2026 and has been painting for nearly 15 years.

In her recent work, Roth explores the quiet beauty of New Orleans at sunset. Drawn to the interplay of light with both architecture and nature, she captures fleeting moments when the familiar is transformed into something extraordinary. Each painting begins with a photograph taken during walks through her neighborhood, serving as a starting point for a slow, meditative process that unfolds over hours and weeks. By taking a moment that lasts a few seconds and stretching it into hours and weeks of a meditative, almost reverent painting practice, she invites viewers to pause, look more closely, and discover beauty in the seemingly ordinary.
